2015 SMO Golf & Tennis Tourney – Highlights

Partners in Ministry,

A BIG thank you to everyone who participated in the 2015 SMO Golf & Tournament. We had 130 golfers, 12 tennis players and a whole team of volunteers who helped to make it a great day.

Thank you to Ed Smith and Diane Werner for helping to make the 1st SMO Tennis tournament such a success.

Want to thank Lonnie Poole Golf Course and Chip Watson for accommodating us on a last minute location change. I appreciate all of the volunteers that served as well as Heritage High School athletes.

Want to acknowledge our SMO Coaches who help to make the ministry happen: Tim Gemmel, Jeff Forbes, Manny Crowther, Bob Winstead, Phil Farmer, Ken Braswell and many more who weren’t able to attend.

Both tournaments were a win-win. It was a great time of fellowship and the funds raised will continue outreach to impact youth for Christ in the sports community.

A special thanks to:

  • Chick-fil-A Six Forks & Strickland Road, owned and operated by Charly Kerr, for a great kick-off breakfast
